This is who we are

**Manifesto of the Iranian Refugees Network in Malaysia – V.2**

We, the members of the Iranian Refugee Network in Malaysia (Irasar) ,aware of the immense challenges facing refugees, stand together in solidarity, commitment, and unwavering determination to declare this manifesto as the statement of our principles and objectives.

1- **Solidarity and Empathy**

We believe that only through solidarity and empathy with one another can we overcome challenges. We, as refugees from all ethnicities and nationalities, consider each other as family and act as a united network. No refugee should be left alone in this journey. Everyone is a member of this community and contributes to building a better future.

2- **Equal Rights and Human Dignity**

We respect the equal rights and inherent dignity of every human being. As refugees, our rights must not be overlooked. We aim to achieve access to our human, legal, and social rights through mutual support and cooperation with international organizations, such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

3- **Empowerment of the Refugee Community**

We do not see ourselves merely as victims of circumstance but as agents of change and improvement within the refugee community. We are committed to enhancing the capacities and abilities of ourselves and other refugees through education and awareness.

Our goal is the economic, legal, and social empowerment of the refugee community through access to informational and advisory resources.

4- **Active Participation and International Cooperation**

We are committed to active participation in decision-making processes and collaboration with both domestic and international organizations. Our voices must be heard, and we must play an active role in designing solutions that affect the lives of refugees.

We believe in ongoing and constructive cooperation with the UNHCR and other organizations to provide optimal assistance and sustainable support.

5- **Networking and Building Effective Connections**

We believe in the power of networking and effective communication. This network serves as a bridge connecting refugees to resources, organizations, and support institutions. We seek to expand these connections to ensure that every refugee has access to necessary services and support.

6- **Accountability and Transparency**

We believe that accountability and transparency in every action and decision-making process are fundamental principles of a successful community. We are committed to financial and managerial transparency in all our activities, and as members of this network, we will remain faithful to our responsibilities toward each other and the broader community.

7- **Assistance to Other Refugees**

We believe in the principle of mutual assistance. This network not only serves its members but also works for all refugees in Malaysia and beyond.

We are committed to actively facilitating aid and resources for other refugees in need of support and will spare no effort in this regard.

8- **Promoting Peace and Peaceful Coexistence**

We believe that peace and peaceful coexistence among all social, racial, and religious groups are the foundations of a healthy society. Our network is committed to promoting these values among refugees and host communities, striving to create a platform for dialogue, mutual respect, and understanding.

The Malaysia Refugee Network declares this manifesto as the guiding principles of our work.

We are committed to building a path for improving the lives of refugees through cooperation, transparency, and dedication to human and legal values, and to establishing a supportive and protective community for all members.

We will bring justice, peace, tranquility, and comfort to ourselves and future generations through unity and awareness. ☘️🌸
